Members

1. Membership of the Deposit Protection Scheme is mandatory for a bank or a specialized deposit-taking institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana. The Corporation issues a Certificate of Membership to a bank or specialised deposit-taking institution.
2. A bank or Specialized Deposit-Taking Institution shall have to display a copy of the Certificate of Membership at a conspicuous place at the office of the bank or Specialized Deposit-Taking Institution, and at each branch office, agency or outlet of the bank or Specialized Deposit-Taking Institution. This is to help customers identify a member of the Scheme.
